About

Brewster Productions is a music and arts company based in Plymouth, Massachusetts. We specialize in professional sound services for concerts, road races, parties, and other events, as well as music booking and production for bars, clubs, and hotels.

In the summer, we present the Acoustic Nights Free Concert Series and the Plymouth Independent Music Festival, both on Water St. in Plymouth, MA. We started the company in 2007 with the mission of helping young musicians get shows in a music circuit dominated by frustrating politics – we love our local arts community and want to do everything we can to help it grow.

Aside from live music and sound, we also do work in recording, music distribution, and film production – we have two divisions, Brewster Records and Four String Films.

In May 2011, we received the 2010 ARTY Arts Recognition award from the Plymouth Cultural Council.

Meet the owners:

Scott McEwen books artists, handles bookkeeping, maintains the equipment, and is the chief sound engineer. [+]

Jon Dorn books artists and handles photo/video, advertising, and PR. He’s the other sound engineer. [+]

These two guys became friends on the Plymouth South High School cross country team in 2002, and along with their other good friend Harry Quinn, founded Brewster Productions in 2007. There’s also an awesome team of brothers, sisters, friends, girlfriends, wives, and in-laws who help out tremendously with all the events.
