School’s Out! Summer Concert Series 2010
The 2010 School’s Out Summer Concert Series consists of 14 shows at the Hedge House Lawn and the main stage (click for directions) from Memorial Day to Labor Day. For past schedules, check out the archives. If you are a solo musician or small acoustic band and want to perform, click here.
All shows are FREE, OUTDOORS, and ALL AGES.

Details: We have the honor of closing out this year’s series with the incomparable Lucas Carpenter. Listen to his music, get hooked. (**rescheduled from 8/25)

Details: Our good friend Nate belts out some silky smooth piano ballads and sing-alongs, and is joined by talented high schoolers Jesse Boncek and Willie Dinardo.
06.18.10 – JEFF CONLEY + DOUG LOGAN w/ I R EGO

Details: Cool folk-Americana from Jeff Conley of Tin Can Tele, plus Plymouth’s own Doug Logan belting out some great songs.
07.02.10 - SEAN P. ROGAN (of Big D and the Kids Table) w/ The Plaiditudes

Details: Former guitarist from popular Boston-based ska/punk act Big D and the Kids Table. Totally rad originals (free to download) on his site.
07.03.10 – 3rd Left w/ Jake Hill + The Eagle Hill Band + Nate Cristofori

Details: We’re keeping the tradition alive! These 3 bands kicked off the very first show of the summer concert series on July 11, 2008. For the 3rd year in a row, we’ve got our big main stage kick off show. This year, it’s going to be huge.

07.17.10 – THE RELEASE w/ 14th Union + Bones & A Curtis Rhythm
6pm @ The Main Stage Details: Uber-talented reggae-rock foursome The Release takes the stage once again this summer, joined by two great young Plymouth bands.
07.24.10 – MARK ROSE (of Spitalfield) w/ Camera Can’t Lie
6pm @ The Main Stage
Details: These two awesome bands are stopping by Plymouth on their US tour! Mark Rose is the lead singer/guitarist of Victory Records band Spitalfield (their big song was “I Loved the Way She Said LA”), and Camera Can’t Lie is an up-and-coming trio on Atlantic Records.
07.30.10 – AMY MERCIER, Molly Pope

Details: Some talented young Massachusetts musicians take the stage, pianist Amy Mercier and singer/songwriter Molly Pope.
08.14.10 – ORTOLAN w/ Emma Ate the Lion, Doug Ratner & the Watchmen +6 more bands!
12pm @ 4th Annual Schoolhouse Rock Music Festival (The Main Stage)
Details: Starts at 1pm! A benefit for the Vh1 Save the Music Foundation! Featuring NJ indie folk group Ortolan, hot off rave reviews at SXSW. Go to the SHR ’10 page for the schedule
08.20.10 – Greg Loftus, Stephen MacDonald (of The Okay Win), Big Big Buildings
6pm @ The Hedge House Lawn (acoustic)
Details: Awesome southern blues from Greg Loftus, Bright-Eyes-esque acoustic music from Steve MacDonald, with singer/writer Big Big Buildings.
