BOOKING

2010 AVAILABILITY (as of March 2010): We are wide open! As of right now, consider us a blank slate – check out the info below, and send us some info.

So you’re interested in playing in the School’s Out Concert Series. Well, you’ve come to the right place…or the only place, I suppose.

A short summary of everything below: E-mail/message us and ask for a show.

booking@brewsterproductions.com

First off, the 2 biggest things to remember are: a) We do not pay bands to perform – this has resulted from us not having any money, but it’s actually turned out to be a really cool thing where bands are only playing for exposure and fun; b) we don’t want your money. We ask plenty of people for donations, but not bands. You’re here to play music, and we’re here to help you get it out there. And remember to sell your merch at the shows.

We’re all about getting exposure for young bands and musicans since we’re young guys ourselves, so you may be just what we’re looking for.
1. You definitely don’t need a polished demo (they are nice, though). You should probably have a myspace, because everyone does, but the music on there can even just be audio off a video camera or a demo you made using a 4-track recorder – we know high school and college kids have more important things to pay for than going into a studio to record a demo.
2. E-mail or myspace message us. Let us know you want to play, and what you’re all about. Or just let your music speak for itself – whatever your style is.
3. Not all music is appropriate for the Plymouth Waterfront. As much as we respect and appreciate all forms of music, there are limits on what can be performed outdoors in downtown Plymouth. Swearing is the biggest limiter. If your lyrical lexicon consists solely of f-bombs, then we probably can’t have you play.
3(a). That doesn’t mean we’re against punk, metal, or hip hop. We’ve had punk and metal bands play before and they were awesome. It’s all about censoring yourself.

I am 15 years old and have recorded a CD already all the songs are original. I have been writing since the age of 7. Please take a look at my web page and listen to the music. I would love an opportunity to play at one of your shows.

    Thank you,
    Alexandra Nett
